W.O.W at fumct

"Wonder is the beginning of worship."

At First United Methodist Church, we want our children to learn at an early age to wonder at the miracles of God.

Our Kindergarten-3rd grade students participate in a Sunday worship service, in their own sanctuary, to help deepen their Christian faith through prayer, praise and age-appropriate lessons called W.O.W. moments.

4th and 5th grade students can volunteer with W.O.W. by contacting Amy Thigpen.

W.O.W. meets each Sunday morning, during the academic year, at 11:15 a.m. in the W.O.W. Worship Center.

Special Notes: Children attend the 11:00 a.m. Bridge or Traditions worship service, with their families, and are escorted by a W.O.W. host at the appropriate time in the service. Parents pick-up children from the W.O.W. Worship Center, on the 2nd floor, at the conclusion of the worship service.

We would love to have you as a WOW host. No special training or skills required. For inquiries, contact Amy Thigpen.
