YMCA Best Summer Ever camp - here at FUMCT!

The Tuscaloosa YMCA Family Center is hosting the "Best Summer Ever Camp" June 5 - August 4 for children ages 5 to 10 years old. The camp will incorporate enrichment activities and weekly field trips.

Volunteers are needed daily at FUMCT in the Chanda Fehler room (attached to the Church Activity Center) to assist 10 to 15 campers with their theme based activities such as cooking, crafting, knitting, Bible study, music and more. Please let us know what special talents you have that you would like to share with the children of the YMCA! Weekly commitments are appreciated!

Donations of gently used items are received to supply the Gap Ministries, The Outback and the Resale Boutique. Donations are received at 3101 Main Avenue Northport, AL Monday - Friday 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. & Saturday 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

TES offers a vast array of client services, including food assistance, clothing and help with utilities, so volunteers are always in demand. Our volunteers can work during office hours 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday or at the TES Thrift Store 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday & Saturdays 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. There are many different functions available for volunteers at our agency:

helping out in our always busy Thrift Store, filling food bags for our clients, sorting donations and many more!
